For us classic car enthusiasts, our vehicle plays a huge role in our life – be that tinkering in the garage, a wind in your hair road trip or a Sunday morning catch up with your club.

They’re a reminder of days gone by, and monuments to the advancement of technology and design, which is why it’s vital to preserve the history they represent. But how do we enjoy our classics and ensure they fit in a modern world focused on preserving our planet for the next generation?

For most of us, electric conversion isn’t the answer, who wants to rip out the still working heart of a classic? Rather than replace valves and pistons with wires and LED lights, carbon capture and offsetting is the answer.

We may drive old school cool, but our attitude toward our planet is rooted in the modern world. We’ve designed our offsetting formula around vehicles, so it takes only 4 steps to make sure you’ve planted enough trees to absorb all those carbon emissions.

About our Classics membership

How much does it cost?

Your annual Classics subscription is made up of your offsetting or capturing cost (unique to your vehicle’s mileage, fuel efficiency) and a small subscription fee (this helps keep us up and running, spreading the message about what we do and putting on all of our member benefits).

Future carbon capture is the slightly more expensive option and supports new woodland planting in the UK. Carbon offsetting is the more cost effective option which supports established international forestry projects.

What's included?

A badge of honour! An eco-friendly car sticker to show your pride in driving carbon offset miles!

With your Tree-V subscription, you’ll receive a sticker to display proudly on your vehicle to show that you’re invested in doing your bit for the environment and that the emissions from your vehicle are being offset.

Contribute to the carbon balanced movement while driving

By joining us, you can enjoy driving your car knowing that you’ve done your bit to offset the cost to the environment. Make a difference in combating global climate change, right from the comfy seat of your car.

Get on the carbon credit register

For every bit of carbon you offset with us, there’ll be a certified carbon credit* equivalent to the cost recorded in the carbon credit register (as per the UK’s Woodland Carbon Code and Peatland Code). This is facilitated by our certified Tree Planting Partner, who ensures that each carbon credit represents a permanent removal of CO2e.

Grow new UK woodland or overseas forest (your choice!)

As well as the benefit to fighting climate change, you are also helping the planet’s landscape and wildlife. You’ll have the option of planting trees in the British countryside, so the forest you’re contributing to is only a road trip away.

Regular updates on your forest’s progress

We’ll keep you updated on the impact of your offsetting, as well as how our dedicated forests are doing throughout the world. You’ll be able to follow your trees’ story over time and watch them grow and thrive.

Attend fully carbon balanced motoring events

We’re a social group who like to host regular events, for which all our Classics and Prestige members are given access. With a mix of our own rallies and gatherings plus Tree-V ‘huddles’ at numerous events on the automotive calendar up and down the country there is something for everyone. We can’t wait to meet you and stick our head under your bonnet…

How does it work?

The first step is to choose your package; opt for Classics if you have a classic car or our Miles subscription if not. Next, calculate your annual subscription cost based on your unique vehicle emissions using the calculator above. Based on every mile you drive, we’ll plant trees in a forest of your choice in the UK or around the world.
